Abstracts must be in word format on the BITE/ASBTE 2009 template and submitted by email to asbteprogram@meetingplanners.com.au no later than the 31 October 2008. Instructions for authors and a template may be downloaded from the conference website

All abstracts will be subject to review and must be substantive and include sufficient detail to allow fair evaluation. Depending on the decision of the scientific committee, the paper will either be assigned an oral presentation or a poster presentation. Poorly presented abstracts may be rejected.
Authors will be notified of the status of their paper by the 28 November 2008.
Please note that all paper submissions will be printed in the conference handbook. The paper submitted for review will be the final version for print. Please ensure your papers adhere to the guidelines stipulated. All presenters must register to attend the conference. Acceptance of papers into the program is contingent upon receipt of the registration fee.
Abstracts
Abstract should be in single column format. The title should be centred at the top of the page in bold capitals, with the authors (surname, followed by Initials) and affiliations in normal type centred immediately below. Please underline the presenting author. Text should be 12 point single spaced. All text should fit in a space 160mm wide by 180mm long.
